 The kangaroo is the most famous marsupial. The large hind paws are unique to kangaroos and are much larger than the front paws. The red kangaroo can jump up to nine metres and reach a speed of over 50km/hr. The kangaroo can’t move backwards but has to move in a semi-circle to change direction.
