Cotton Poplin Dress

The Veistos organic cotton poplin dress has a relaxed, straight fit and it features the Rappu pattern. The dress has a pointed collar and a wide knife pleat at the front neckline that is fastened with a button under the collar. The dress has side seam pockets and it comes with a separate D-ring belt.

Sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary. Each item is unique.

Created using the paper cut technique, the Rappu (steps) pattern makes you think of a functionally designed staircase with handrails following the lines of the steps. This Antti Kekki design depicts a moment of transition – feet on the steps and hands on the curved rail. The pattern draws inspiration from Marimekko’s archive patterns and modernistic Finnish architecture.
